Plant Care

Plant Care Philosophy

I’ve learned that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to plant care. Every grower has a unique style and setup — and that’s a good thing.

There are so many variables that influence a plant’s success:

  • Environment: light, temperature, humidity

  • Containers: plastic, ceramic, terracotta, glass, open or closed

  • Water sources: tap, distilled, RO, well, spring

  • Growing methods: soil, hydro, semi-hydro (LECA, Pon, Stratum)

  • Feeding style: organic compost, fertilizer, nutrients

Because of all these factors, I don’t include rigid care instructions or guarantees. What works beautifully for me — especially in LECA — may not work in someone else’s home, and that’s okay.

I’m always happy to share how I grow, not as a rulebook, but as a reference point. My goal is to help you feel confident adapting your plant to your own conditions, your habits, and your preferred style.

🌱 I’m also working on a short video that walks through how I personally clean moss from roots after shipping, transition the plant in water, and then move it into a semi-hydro setup. Once it’s ready, I’ll share it here for anyone curious about my process.
